Digital scrapbooking where have you been!!

My first ever digital scrap creation, thrown together in no time using a lovely kit from the Shabby Princess. www.shabbyprincess.com

I love the layered, clustered, all elements huddled together look but don't think I really pulled off quite what I was hoping here. I think more white space is needed. Still I am most pleased, no mess to clean up and the fuss free ability to change my mind half way through.

What do you think of my blog header??? I am a beginner but completed this with surprising ease. Thanks to a few tips from The Digital Scrapper Blog and some lovely paper from Design House Digital
I am quite proud of it. The flower is a picture taken by myself (or my husband, we tend to argue over that one).

Christmas Procrastination

 

Our family christmas card for 2012. I love this pic of my cheeky little cherubs.

 

 

Everytime I designed one I felt compelled to go right on and design another one. I eventually said to myself, "look if you don't stick with one and get them printed, chances are you won't get any sent and your time and effort will be wasted. Speaking from experience.

 

These are a couple I came up with. I sent an array of the first two off to friends and relatives, I just love the little starburst brush used in the backgroud of the first card.
